Privacy Policy — Timespective

The short version. Everything you create in Timespective — your pillars, your daily logs, your streaks, your settings — is stored on your device, and nothing is transmitted today. There is no account and no sign-in. Crash diagnostics are not collected unless you explicitly turn them on. We cannot see your data, because it never reaches us.

No account, no transmission — today

Timespective does not send your pillars or logs anywhere. There is no server that holds a copy of your data, and there is nobody — including us — who can retrieve it if you lose it.

We say today deliberately. A cloud-sync feature is planned for a future version. It does not exist yet, and nothing in the current app implies cloud storage. If and when sync ships, this policy, the in-app notice, and the store data-safety declarations will all be updated together before any data leaves your device, and it will remain your choice.

Crash diagnostics are off by default

Collection of crash diagnostics is disabled in every build, in every region, for every user. It is strictly opt-in — never pre-ticked, never turned on remotely. If you choose to enable it, the app reports the crash's error type and stack trace only. The error message is deliberately stripped before anything is sent, so the names you type — your pillars, your notes — cannot travel inside a crash report.

Payments and subscriptions

Timespective is a paid app: a 14-day free trial, then a monthly or annual subscription. Payments are handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play, with subscription status verified through our payments provider, RevenueCat. We never see or store your card details — only an anonymous subscription status so the app knows whether your access is active. This is separate from your Timespective data, which stays on your device as described above.

Backup and moving to a new phone

Because your data lives only on your device, your phone's own backup is what carries it forward. Your Timespective database and settings are included in Android cloud backup and device transfer, and in iOS device backup. If you set up a new phone without restoring your backup, your data stays on the old device — there is no copy on our side to restore from.

Deleting your data

You can delete all of your data from inside the app at any time. This is immediate and irreversible: there is no server-side copy and, currently, no import, so once deleted it cannot be recovered.

Your rights

Your Timespective data lives entirely on your device — we hold none of it — so there is nothing on our servers to access, correct, export, or erase; you already hold and control all of it directly. The app includes an export feature so you can take your data out at any time, whether or not you are subscribed. Your subscription record is held by the app store and, for verification, by RevenueCat, and is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Children

Timespective is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
